Our second training session for our professional software program begins today.

Grand West Electric has been awarded the electrical contract for RDL Management Ltd.’s latest project, the Valmont Building. When complete, the 4-storey wood-frame building will contain 70 units.

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide opportunities for professional development, Grand West Electric has organized computer software training classes for its staff. Our first group begins training on our new software program today.

Grand West Electric was awarded the electrical contract for the Stantec Consulting Group Interior Tenant Improvement Project. We are working with general contractor Ledcor Group on the 40,000SF tenant improvement project.

We are working on completing electrical tenant improvement work for a new 7-Eleven store in Calgary. We are working with Zagreb Construction to complete the 3,300SF commercial retail project.

Work for the 11-storey residential building, Lumino, Building A, has wrapped up. Work continues on the second larger Lumino building, Building B.

Tenant improvement work for the Calgary Board of Education’s location 4804 6 Street, SW. Contractor for the project was Ameresco.

Grand West has wrapped up work on the 70,000SF Sundance Buildings at Sunpark Plaza. The buildings accommodate 11 commercial retail units.

The Grand West team will be taking part today in first aid training as presented by AB Health and Safety.

Work has begun for Birchwood Properties Corporation’s Kaleidoscope, a 5-storey 70-unit residential building at 2505 – 24th Street NW. Graham Construction is the developer for the project.

Grand West has begun tenant improvement work for the Calgary Board of Education’s location at 4804 6 Street SW. Ameresco is the project’s developer.

Grand West has begun work on the 70,000SF Sundance Buildings at Sunpark Plaza. The buildings will house 11 commercial retail units and is managed by Aman Building Corp.

Grand West Electric has finished work for Jelly Modern Doughnuts. The gourmet doughnut bakery café project was overseen by PNG Construction Ltd. and is now home to 3,000SF of pure deliciousness.

We have wrapped up work on Tim Hortons newest location at 1301-16 Avenue NW. Come by the 3,000SF retail space and get a coffee and your favourite doughnut .

With the first Lumino building, Building A, close to completion, Grand West Electric has begun work on the second Lumino building, Building B. At 14 stories and 120 units, Lumino, Builing B, will be the larger of the two.

Today Grand West Electric is taking part in Safety Man Canada Ltd.’s Confined Space Entry training program. The course will run for half a day and will teach essential requirements for a safe confined-space entry.

The Calgary skyline is changing. Work on Lumino, Building A, a new 11-storey, 88-unit residential building has begun. Grand West is working with contractor Kanas Corporation to complete all electrical contracting work on the first of two towers.

We are working with Cana Management Ltd. on the new Stampede Park Operation Building. When complete, the office building will have 3 stories totaling 20,000SF of office space.
